Barbury Castle is a great place for butterflies. Join expert leaders from Wiltshire Branch on a guided butterfly walk around the Iron Age Hill Fort for the Big Butterfly Count. Walks will depart at regular intervals between 11am and 2.30 pm from the Butterfly Conservation stand in the public car park.
Directions: From the M4 Junction 15 follow the A346 towards Marlborough until you see signs for Chiseldon. Then follow signs for Barbury Castle. From Swindon take the A4361 (Croft Road) towards Wroughton. At the junction by the Morrisons store, take the B4005 towards Chiseldon. Then follow signs towards Barbury Castle.
Please note: the toilets at the public car park are currently closed for repairs.
