The Branch Members' Day and AGM will be held at a new venue near Salisbury this year at Woodford Village Hall, Middle Woodford. Matthew Oates, broadcaster and former nature advisor to the National Trust, will give the Keynote Talk.

To cater for lunch it would be very helpful if you could let us know if you plan to attend. Please email the Chairman at hugobrooke@gmail.com.

PROGRAMME:
1130: Doors open.
1200: Annual General Meeting of the Wiltshire Branch of Butterfly Conservation.
1300: A light lunch will be served. A donation to cover costs will be appreciated.
1400: Keynote Talk by Matthew Oates : Discovering the Purple Emperor
1500: Photographic competition, judging and prize giving: Raffle and draw. Networking.
1530: Any other business, questions, discussion points.
1600: Close

NOTES:
Location: Village Hall, Middle Woodford, SP4 6NR.
Car parking: Large car park opposite the venue.
Raffle Prizes: If you would like to contribute it would be greatly appreciated.

PHOTO COMPETITION:
Taking part is more important than winning and we would love to see your photographs.
The Photographic competition is digital only, to save members print costs and allow the images to be shown to a large size to show the detail that can be lost on a 6 x 4 print. Members should bring up to three images (see rules below) on a USB memory stick to the AGM. The files should be in a folder named members-photos. This folder should contain three or less photos, if there are more the first three will be used. Members not attending the AGM can email five photos to Wayne.clinch@googlemail.com.
Rules:
1. Photographs will have been taken in the last 12 months.
2. Should be of a butterfly or moth at any stage.
3. Each photograph be at a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
4. No borders or descriptions should be added to photographs.
5. Printed photographs can be brought and displayed at the AGM but they will not be included in the competition.
