10.20 - 12.00. Lots to be seen on the slopes at Throope. MW unexpected - haven't seen one for while, and I had the impression that they were over. DGF in flight becoming more laboured now. Of all the fritillaries, I think they are the ones that "age" best in appearance, especially the females, becoming more interesting then when fresh.
