Very dried out compared to previous years. Many many whites - more small whites than large whites but most seem pristine and new. No Trefoil for the usually abundant blues. No orchids as yet. Knapweed and bramble blossom attracting most species. Field scabious, harebells, yellow-wort and ragwort covered in cinnamon moth catapillars. May have seen a wall brown on the path.
