Number of NB Five-spot Burnets a gross underestimate. Delightful to see three Small Tortoiseshells, the first on the transect since a single on 6th May 2024! Unfortunately we were unable to properly count section 2 as a couple of cows with very young calves are there at the moment. This may well have affected particularly the numbers of Common Blues.
