10.45-11.45. Strong and gusty breeze doing a good job of dispersing the butterflies across the hillside and beyond on Saturday. CB and MB mostly hunkered down in the grass, revealing themselves whenever the sun broke through, and WBs keeping to the sunken animal tracks where the chalk was holding the heat. Even the ClY thought better of flying higher than the swaying grass, mostly taking "hops" from one stemless thistle to the next.
