10 - 11.30. The dry weather as taken its toll on Clearbury - the vegetation is thin and parched, far fewer flowers than normally. Looks like it has been "tidied up" since my last visit - areas where thistles were flourishing have been cleared. Pity, they tend to be useful nectar sources in periods of drought. ChB numbers fair for an early visit.
