 A note for anyone planning a visit to Somerford Common this month. Forestry Commission contractors are currently working to remove diseased ash and some non-natives. At present the western side of the common—west of the Minety to Brinkworth road, and south of Queen Street—is completely closed. Work is due to be completed by the end of July.
