The sightings were made on a walk from home to the Landsdowne Monument. On Cherhill down the path runs in a gulley with high hedges and this where the Holly Blue was the most common. Seeing the Speckled Wood here was least expected.
Peacock butterflies were in evidence too. Surprisingly there no Red Admirys.
