Was going to have a look round Chittoe Heath but it was shut, so I went here instead. Haven't been for many years and was pleasantly surprised by how good the meadows were. Also found a colony of heath spotted orchids on slightly acidic soil near the brook. Edit: Added a small heath that I missed the first time.
