12.15 - 13.15. Leaving Knap Hill aimed for West Woods via the back route but somehow got lost around the medieval village earthworks and didn't realise I'd gone astray until I was at the gate at the foot of Huish Hill, one of my favourite places. How is that even possible? It will take some figuring out. A fly-past by a male orange-tip on the other side of the gate was all the invitation needed. I have been giving OTs the stare for three weeks now, expecting each to be the last and trying to fix the memory, but still singletons keep turning up.
