White-letter Hairstreak (1)
I still can't believe this, whilst working in my garage this White Letter Hairstreak landed on the garage floor. It could barely fly and on closer inspection I saw its wings were covered in cobwebs. I managed to remove these and placed it on my beach hedge where it stayed for over an hour before eventually flying off. There are Wych Elm near by which show damage so I'm hopeful of further sightings. This was my first WLH and it came to me!
